Road lighting is critical to ensure traffic safety,in which glare is an important factor affecting road traffic safety.However,the researches show that streetlights,car headlights,and traffic fill lights often bring disability glare to drivers.In actual measurement,manual measurement methods are used.The measurement process is cumbersome and manual participation is too high,which leads to poor repeatability and low accuracy of measurement results.Therefore,it is particularly important to research the efficient glare measurement system and method.Aiming at the inefficiency of current glare measurement,the glare measurement method based on threshold increment is proposed through researching the key technical parameters of glare measurement.Taking the advantages of industrial cameras and computers,the proposed method is facilitated with the digital advanced image processing technology and achieves the non-contact and high-precision comprehensive measurement of glare.By straightening out the definition and theoretical basis of the retrospective threshold increment TI.the basis of using TI to measure disability glare can be obtained.Additionally,the evaluation formula suitable for the test environment of this thesis is summarized,and the basic physical parameters necessary for its calculation are analyzed and deduced.Combining the photosensitive characteristics and imaging principle of the camera with the photometric principle,the camera brightness calibration method of extracting the light environment parameter information from the image is determined.Compared with the traditional calibration scheme,the proposed method is improved in the brightness calibration and the image brightness information extraction.At the same time,the related technology of binocular vision to extract position parameters is deeply studied,and the image position information is extracted.Finally,the experimental verification and uncertainty analysis of the glare measurement system is carried out.The experimental results show that the proposed method prove high precision and high efficiency compared with the traditional measurement methods.The relative error of image extraction brightness is less than 5%.The relative error of image extraction position information is less than 4%,and the absolute error of the threshold increment TI value is less than 1%.Finally,the expanded uncertainty of the measurement threshold increment TI is Urel=4.2%(k=2),which is sufficient for the measurement of the threshold increment TI.
