Model Construction And Empirical Research On Emerging Technology Topic Identification

With the development of information technology,emerging technologies are not limited to the existence of structured data sources.Network data may also contain potential emerging technologies.How to change research methods and ways for the current existence of emerging technologies,and how to explore the identification of emerging technologies,both are important for the national strategic and the investment and development of enterprises.The portrait of emerging technologies no longer only uses papers and patent data,but makes full use of a variety of data,such as Internet public opinion data.Different data sources outline different aspects of emerging technologies: papers often outline the knowledge profile of emerging technologies;patents outline the core power of emerging technologies;online public opinion data outline the future growth potential of emerging technologies,policy is the crystallization of the thinking of think tank experts,showing a more macro technical theme,leading the direction of technological development;fund data generally focuses on the deployment,organization,and implementation of specific scientific and technological plans for national innovation strategies,revealing technology Development trend.Based on the above content,this research nakes full use of five data sources of emerging technology: patents,papers,policies,funds,and Internet public opinion to construct an emerging technology identification model and identify emerging technologies topics.First,collect data and preprocess it to form a corpus,and use SVM vector machine to classify technical categories;then,use the LDA model to identify technical topics;after that,classify the extracted technical topics to filter out and mature technical topics;finally,construct an index evaluation system,use the entropy method to weight the evaluation index to calculate the comprehensive index,complete the identification of emerging technologies.Applying the emerging technology identification model to the field of intelligent networked vehicles,the results confirm that the emerging technology identification model and emerging technology identification index system designed in this study can carry out a more comprehensive and accurate identification of emerging technologies and explore the future development trend of emerging technologies.The proposed development potential evaluation index meets the needs of emerging technology identification in the current big data time.
