Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)is different from traditional network in nodes characteristic and application environment.So the research on the maximization of nodes resources is of great significance.The node scheduling,coverage holes and network topology control are usually studied in the area coverage technology in order to optimize the allocation of resources of the network in overall style and improve the abilities of nodes in detecting,monitoring and communicating,so as to construct the efficient interconnected network.The excellent area coverage technology is one of the technologies to achieve the low energy consumption of the nodes and the long lifetime of the network.The node scheduling and coverage hole of area coverage technology in WSN with nodes deployed randomly are mainly studied in this paper.The achievements are as follows:(1)In view of the existing problems of the area coverage node scheduling algorithms,such as the redundant node coverage model are independent of the exact location information,the network cost is high and the coverage rate of redundant nodes is low.Therefore,the Redundant Node Coverage Discriminating Algorithm(RNCDA)is proposed,whose core is non-geographic information.It judges whether the node is redundant or not by calculating the distance and central angle between neighbor nodes.To a certain extent,the RNCDA can improve the coverage rate and coverage discrimination precision of the redundant nodes.Based on this,the location independent Energy Balanced Node-covered Scheduling Algorithm(EBNSA)is proposed,whose core is that it considers the remaining energy of nodes in the period of node scheduling,so as to achieve the purpose of reducing the energy consumption of nodes and balancing the network energy consumption and prolonging the network lifetime.(2)In view of the coverage quality is low which is caused by the coverage holes,the coverage hole algorithm based on EBNSA is proposed in this paper,the core idea is that the redundant nodes are awaken to replace the dead nodes,also the redundant nodes are selected by the principles: they are in the edge of the coverage holes and the distance between them and the pivot_node is the biggest.Finally,the results above are simulated and tested with Matlab.At the same time,EBNSA algorithm is evaluated from the aspects of redundant node coverage ratio,the number of active nodes and so on.Compared with other algorithms,the EBNSA algorithm can balance the energy consumption of nodes and prolong the network lifetime.
