With the improvement of industrial automation and the rise of smart home applications,the market has increasingly strong demand for smart power integrated circuits led by motor drive chips,and motor drive technology has gradually become a research hotspot.In this paper,a high-voltage N-type DMOS full-bridge DC motor driver chip is designed based on the Hua Hong Hongli(HHG)0.35?m BCD process.The chip input voltage range is 8?36V,and the typical value of the power device on-resistance is less than 0.4?,and the peak current of the highest 2.8A.At the same time,the chip can achieve multiple functions such as motor forward and reverse control,fast and slow deceleration control,PWM control and low-power sleep mode control.The motor drive chip designed in this article can be used in low-power DC motor drive systems.In this design,N-type DMOS tube is used as H-bridge power MOS tube.Compared with P-type DMOS tube,it has stronger current driving ability under the same size.The chip integrates a self-starting high-voltage LDO module.The highvoltage LDO module can realize self-starting without the need for a pre-regulator circuit,and provide a stable low-voltage power supply for the internal low-voltage module,which not only reduces the circuit complexity,but also improves Circuit reliability.This article also innovatively uses a new switch control technology,designs a high-voltage level conversion module and a high-voltage charge pump module,which improves the switching efficiency while reducing the overall power consumption of the circuit.A comprehensive system simulation was performed on the designed motor drive chip circuit.The simulation results show that the startup time is 1.3ms,and the power tube on-resistance is typically 0.38?.Within the full input voltage range,VREG can stably output 5.5V With low internal power supply voltage,VCP can stably provide VBB+5.5V H-bridge high-end power tube gate drive voltage.The static power consumption of this chip is 3.75 m A,the power consumption in sleep mode is only7.2?A,and the peak current is 2.8A.In summary,the motor drive chip designed in this article has excellent performance indicators.
