With the rapid development of social economy,the catering industry takes up an increasingly important proportion in people's lives.With the increasingly fierce competition in the catering industry,collisions and confrontations in hotel operations continue to occur;if a hotel wants to gain an advantage in fierce competition,it is not only in terms of price,but also in terms of good service.Compared with the inefficiency of traditional ordering methods,the flourishing rise of the electronic ordering system has already promoted the informatization construction in the catering industry.However,the current ordering systems of most hotels only provide ordering services for customers,and they lack a good membership system to enhance the interaction between merchants and customers,so customer viscosity is not high.Based on the analysis of the existing ordering system,with the goal of improving customer dining experience and increasing hotel operating profits,this thesis designs and implements a membership-based hotel electronic ordering system.The system is divided into membership ordering terminal and merchant management terminal according to different functions.The membership ordering terminal provides customers with self-service ordering,and guides customers to repeat consumption and enhance customer viscosity via members' exclusive dish discounts,recharge discounts,gift exchange and other forms.The merchant management terminal helps merchants develop efficient hotel management to increase hotel operating profits.For the membership-based hotel electronic ordering system,the Browser/Server architecture is adopted for development of system,the front-end page is developed with the Vue framework and Element UI component library,the server is developed using Spring Boot,Spring Cloud and other frameworks,My SQL database is used to store data,and Redis is used to cache popular dish data and SMS verification codes.Considering the expansion of the hotel scale and the upgrade and change of business needs,the membership-based hotel electronic ordering system uses a micro-service architecture to divide the system into multiple services to facilitate later expansion and maintenance.This thesis analyzes the actual needs of hotel merchants,comprehensively considers technical feasibility and economic feasibility,and further clarifies the functions to be implemented by the membership-based hotel electronic ordering system.Then,this thesis abstracts the specific requirements into the various functional modules of the system,and designs the database tables.Next,this thesis describes the various functions implemented by the system via the form of flowcharts,codes,and pages.Finally,this thesis describes the operating environment of the system,and carries out functional tests and performance tests on the entire software system to fully ensure the good operation of the system.
