| This paper mainly adopts the research method of critical discourse analysis,and takes the reports on modi government's China policy published by Hindustan daily from June 2014 to February 2021 as the research object to explore the changes of modi government's China policy since Modi came to power.According to the three-dimensional framework of Fairclough's CDA,the paper is divided into three parts to analyze the research objects from the perspectives of text analysis,discourse practice analysis and social practice analysis.The first part mainly explores the changes of news discourse of Modi government's China policy from the perspective of text: the transitivity of vocabulary and news headlines;the second part mainly analyzes the collected texts from the perspective of discourse practice,from the perspective of intertextuality and Modi government;the third part starts from the perspective of discourse social practice,from the perspective of politics,economy,social culture and national security This paper makes a detailed analysis of the reasons for the news discourse changes of Modi government's China policy from four perspectives.By combing the relevant reports of Modi government's China policy in Hindustan since modi came to power,we can see that the news discourse of modi government's China policy reports in different periods is different,which is not only related to the periodic development of Sino Indian relations,but also related to the international political pattern,India's political ecological environment,India's economic development needs,Brahman's political environment and so on The cultural tradition of "supremacy" is inseparable from the national security thought of "strategic buffer zone".Therefore,this study believes that the fundamental reason for the change of modi government's China policy is India's need to safeguard its own interests in different periods,and it also changes with the change of Sino Indian relations. |
