Design And Implementation Of Set-Top Box Management Software Based On Android System

The development of the Internet can be said to subvert the traditional analog cable TV.Nowadays,integrating various functions of set-top box almost exits in every household in China.Compared with the traditional way of viewing,set-top box has its unique advantages,set top box has its unique advantage,which can bring a better use experience for the users,however,compared with set-top boxes,remote controls offer a less user-friendly experience.Users are more likely to be troubled by the loss of power of the remote control,so it is necessary to design a software that can replace the remote control to manage the set-top box.Although every household has different needs for the set-top box,everyone hopes to have a perfect software that can be used on a large scale and is convenient to manage and control the set-top box.Based on the above requirements,this paper designed a based on android set-top box management software,the software can be used on mobile devices,abandoned the traditional remote control some of the constraints,has the characteristics of easy operation,anytime and anywhere than on the computer can meet the users demand at a deeper level In order to realize the software,this paper has done the main work is as follows:(1)The overall design of the software,including the demand analysis and feasibility analysis of software,and the design of the overall system and Android terminal software.(2)The main part of the software is developed on the Android mobile terminal and adopts the commonly used MVC Design pattern.The UI interface Design is based on the Material Design framework,which is a new design framework officially designed by Google based on the traditional design rules,including visual motion interaction and other features.(3)Achieving the terminal part of the software,including the home page,UI framework,different logical analysis and implement by code to different modules.This part consist of login module,management module,operation module and settings module.It provides to user a smart service software including management,setting and operation.
