Research On The Enlightenment Of Marcuse's One Dimensional Theory To The Future Technology Development And Application

After the America victory of World War II,Marcuse experienced the substantial changes brought by the advances of science and technology to the western society fro m his perspective.However,in his view,the advances have not brought the ideal happ iness and pleasure to the society.Starting from the impacts of well-developed technol ogy on human beings,Marcuse conducted a series of in-depth studies and discussions regarding the profound impact of technology progresses on civilization from multiple aspects.By analyzing the changes of human being,politic,economy,and culture,Mar cuse further explored the role of technology development in all aspects of society,esp ecially the series of applications of technology in capitalist society,which became the origin the his one-dimensional theory.Based on Weber's Instrumental Rationality The ory,Lukacs' Materialization Theory,Marx's Alienation Theory,and Freud's Psychoana lysis method,Marcuse analyzed the influences of technology from the social,political,cultural,and environmental aspects at that time and eventually formed his one-dimen sional theory.With the continuous development of 5G technology,relying on its chara cteristics of high-speed and low delay,a communication pattern of interconnection an d symbiosis of all things will be formed.The year 2020 is the first year of 5G technol ogy outbreak and in the next few years,the world will usher in the golden age of 5G t echnology development.The rapid development of 5G technology will lead various in dustries to a new era,applications such as artificial intelligence,automatic driving and5 G communication will mature gradually.While human beings can obtain greater co nvenience under the 5G technology,the potential risks may affect society,culture,co nsumption,environment,etc.This paper sorted out the main viewpoints of Marcuse's one-dimensional theory on 5G technology development,and provided enlightenments for 5G from the perspective of one-dimensional theory.The paper discussed the appli cation of Marcuse's one-dimensional theory from the construction of society,the impr ovement of culture,and the protection of environment to better develop and utilize 5G technology avoiding these risks,and to promote 5G technology serves mankind more appreciably.
