With the continuous development of wireless communication,in order to meet the increasing demand for wireless applications, higher requirements for the data transmission rate, delay and channel capacity of wireless communication have been put forward.Considering that the spectrum resources in the low-frequency band are limited by the available bandwidth, which cannot meet the demand, the adoption of millimeter-wave frequency bands to obtain richer spectrum resources has become the core in the design of the next-generation wireless communication system.Based on the millimeter-wave technology in the next-generation wireless communication system and the detailed specifications of the multi-gigabit PHY for 45 GHz band in WLAN IEEE 802.11 aj protocol,RF front-end for Q-band millimeter-wave indoor wireless communication system is studied and designed, including the development and test of single-channel transceiver and four-channel transceiver arrays. In this thesis,a link budget for indoor wireless high-speed transmission system is firstly calculated and the minimum required transmit power of the system in order to reach the target transmission rate is obtained.Based on the integrated Zero-IF transmitter chip and receiver chip which are independently developed, the basic scheme of single-channel transmitter and receiver module is determined. The design, development and test of the single-channel transmitter and receiver module are completed, the wireless transmission test of the transceiver is achieved through the SIW-fed quasi-Yagi antenna printed on board.Based on the research of single-channel transceiver module,four-channel transmitter array and receiver array are designed and developed. The calibration of phase and amplitude between each channel can be done through the antenna array. The single-channel wireless transmission test between the transmitter array and the receiver array is finally achieved. The EVM test scheme for the modulation signal transmission through the transceiver array is also given. The single-channel test results of wireless transmission through the transceiver array show that within 42 ? 48 GHz RF bandwidth and at 100 MBaud symbol rate, the EVM is better than 3.37%,2.5% and 2.11% in 16 QAM,64QAM and 256 QAM modulation mode respectively.
