Flash memory uses electric charge as the storage medium. It has the characteristics of erasing before writing, low cost, large capacity, and long life.It is gradually loved by electronic brand manufacturers of various sizes. It is also the mainstream high-speed chip in the world. It is used as algorithm, acceleration, and logic. And control, etc.,are unique choices. Therefore, this project mainly designs a chip-based controller. This design is based on the background of aerospace military industry, which is based on Xilinx series chip and magnesium light storage chip.By analyzing the working principle and structure of nandflash, and by understanding the timing and access mode of flash memory,a solution based on FPGA is developed. This design adopts the modularization method and the top to down design idea. The operation is realized by the cooperation between each sub module and the main state machine. In the bottom driver part, the design mainly realizes the chip reset, setting sub function parameters, read ID,erase operation and read-write operation of nandflash flash.Secondly, the controller also has error correction algorithm to control the correctness of data transmission and FIFO based cache operation. The bottom driver module, error correction module and cache module are realized by using Verilog language And through the micronblaze soft core module,C language is used to configure the controller interface parameters on the SDK software platform. Finally,a verification scheme is developed. The verification of the underlying driver is realized through simulation and signal grabbing of online logic analyzer. The verification of error correction algorithm module is realized by simulation and adding corresponding test incentive to correctly complete the requirements of the design.
