With the rapid development of agricultural technology in the world,not only the quality but also the yield of agricultural products has been improved in a great scale.However,it also comes with a concern about the safety issue of agricultural products,which is severely threatening people's health.When a safety problem is occurred,it is extremely helpful for regulatory authorities,supply chain management personnel and customers to take the correct action at once if they could get the first-hand data and trace back to the responsible department in a short time.That is the reason why traceability system of agricultural products comes into being.A good traceability system is capable to retrieve information from upstream as well as downstream.For general customers,they could query the source information for problematic products as the evidence to protect their legal right;for regulatory authorities and supply chain management personnel,they need to obtain the information of origin as well as its product distribution,getting prepared for product recall in the future if any.Currently,most researches on traceability system of agricultural products are focus on packaging.However,for bulk agricultural products,it is difficult to put identification attachment on its surface,so customers cannot find the approach to trace its origin.In addition,since customers is playing an important role in the traceability system,the lack of customer's information is also making thing more difficult for responsible department to take proper action to deal with problematic agricultural products.With the utilization of electronic payment,MQTT(Message Queuing Telemetry Transport),and GS1(Globe Standard 1)as core techniques,this paper will provide an effective solution for traceability system of bulk agricultural products.The goal is to identity identification of bulk agricultural products during the seals.And collect consumer information in order to build a complete traceability chain.The major work of this paper are listed below:1.Conduct an analyses and discussion of the latest researches on traceability system of agricultural products in the world and provide a summary of research's progress and how core techniques apply to the system for bulk agricultural products.2.Present a new design on the framework of traceability system against its defect whentracing bulk agricultural products.Based on the techniques of virtual tags,this paper proposes a construction mode of traceability system-traceability electronic scale.The traceability electronic scale is equipped with the function of electronic payment as well as the capability to capture transaction data,like purchasers' information,and encode the information of merchant and the bulk agricultural products of sale based on the GS1 coding standards.These data could be served as the virtual tags and link to Internet of Things synchronously via MQTT protocol.The traceability platform utilizes the mixed construction under B/S(browser/server)and C/S(client/server)so that it could implement traceability electronic scale management,data storage in the cloud,and visual inquires.Users can execute a valid traceability on bulks agricultural products,since it takes the advantage of the algorithm of ‘upstream and downstream' and generate a complete traceability chain with the query condition and relative database.3.Set up the testing environment and summarize the experimental result on the traceability electronic scale.There are two major components in this testing,one is for basic function and the other one is for systematic performance.The test result shows that this system not only meet the basic functional requirement and qualify with a security on a certain level,but also can implement the collection and transmission of transaction data,so it could trace the bulk agriculture products effectively with the construction pattern of traceability chain which is based on the utilization of virtual tag.
