The size measurement of electronic connector is an important link to ensure its production quality.Qualified electronic connector is the basis of stable work of power electronic devices in the process of power transmission and signal transmission.With the rapid update of power electronic technology,electronic connector is also developing towards miniaturization and microminiaturization,which requires higher measurement accuracy and faster speed.The traditional size measurement method of electronic connector can not fully meet the needs of micro electronic connector size measurement.In order to meet the new measurement requirements,machine vision dimension measurement scheme needs to develop in two directions.The first way to solve this problem is updating the camera with higher resolution,more precise lens and improve the dust-free level of the environment;The other way is updating the image processing technology to improve the detection accuracy from the technical level,under the existing conditions.In this paper,a measurement method of micro electronic connector based on machine vision is proposed,and the system is designed to realize the rapid and high-precision measurement of the size of micro electronic connector.According to the measurement requirements and technical indicators,through the analysis of the measurement process and algorithm applicability of traditional measurement methods,the new detection algorithm is established through experimental comparison,and the upper computer software is finally completed.The placement method of relative coordinate system is studied.Firstly,combined with the characteristics of the tested micro electronic connector,the positioning characteristics of using the stamping positioning hole of the strip as the reference point of the relative coordinate system are established;secondly,the positioning method is studied and selected combined with the characteristics of the positioning hole;Finally,the position of the positioning hole is established by using the shape based template matching algorithm,which provides the reference point for the establishment of the relative coordinate system;As the conclusion,the algorithm provides the reference point for the establishment of the relative coordinate system A universal method of relative coordinate reference point positioning;The image filtering algorithm is studied.Firstly,it analyzes that the main noise type of image is salt and pepper noise;Secondly,it compares the filtering effect by using a variety of common filtering algorithms;Thirdly,it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various filtering algorithms,and finally chooses the filtering algorithm combining wavelet transform with median filtering.Experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively filter salt and pepper noise while retaining the details.The image edge detection algorithm is studied.Firstly,the traditional edge detection algorithm is analyzed,and the Canny algorithm is improved by adding unilateral contact unclosed edge filtering process to reduce the influence of burr and dust.Then,on the basis of pixel level edge,the sub-pixel level edge extraction is realized by adding interpolation fitting process.Under the condition of this system,the measurement accuracy is better than 0.015 mm,which can meet the measurement requirements of industrial field.
