As an evolution of traditional network architecture,network virtualization(NV)technology has been widely used in various networks.network virtualization technology decouples network service supply from infrastructure maintenance,reduces the maintenance management costs of service providers,and improves network flexibility and security.In the network virtualization technology,the service acceptance rate and the revenue are crucial factors for service providers.The life cycle of a request is generally divided into several stages:service demand reception,demand transformation,service embedding,adjustment,and maintenance.Adopting different strategies for each stage will have an impact on the service acceptance rate in the entire process.This paper mainly focuses on resource fragmentation that may occur during the deployment of multi-domain virtual network requests and the dynamic changes of resources during request operation.It studies the multi-domain virtual network orchestration method and the virtual network dynamic reconfiguration algorithm.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)Propose a self-defined expression of service requirements and an end-to-end orchestration method for virtual networks that prevents fragmentation.The method includes a custom representation method for multi-domain virtual network services and an end-to-end orchestration algorithm.In the requirement expression method,we abstract various elements involved in multi-domain scenarios,such as orchestration objects,orchestration constraints,and then customize the expression.In the orchestration algorithm,the arriving services are first scheduled according to the priority and the mapping order is determined;then,comprehensively considering factors such as resources,computational complexity,etc.,the set of physical nodes that can be deployed is selected for the virtual network to compress the space to prevent the problem of resource fragmentation appears;finally,the nodes are classified according to their location,and different embedding strategies are designed for different types of nodes.(2)Propose a dynamic reconfiguration method for virtual network services to deal with dynamic resource changes.This method periodically monitors the problem of excessive resource usage during lifetime according to the calculated cycle,and reconfigures the topology of virtual network.The reconfiguration process includes virtual network reconfiguration and partial re-embedding.First,according to the nodes and links whose resource utilization rate exceeds the threshold,different reconfiguration measures are formulated,and the virtual network topology is changed.In order to perform a partial re-embedding method based on a heuristic algorithm,the parameters of importance are evaluated by design,and the deployment of virtual nodes and links in the service are changed.In summary,this paper proposes and designs virtual network orchestration and dynamic reconfiguration approaches.In comparison with other algorithms,the approaches proposed in this paper can improve the acceptance rate and revenue during the deployment and reconfiguration process,and reduce the additional overhead caused by the reconfiguration.
