In recent years,due to the advantages of satellite communication network,such as wide coverage,not limited by geographical environment,the development of satellite communication network is more and more rapid.As the basis of network management function of satellite communication network management system,network management protocol is of great significance to ensure the normal operation of satellite communication network.However,due to the instability of satellite communication network links,limited on-board resources,high delay,heterogeneous and dynamic topology,higher requirements are put forward for the lightweight and reliability of satellite communication network management protocol.At present,the research of satellite communication network management protocol has made great progress,but there are still some limitations.For example,the design of simple network management protocol(SNMP)message format is redundant,and the transport layer is based on unreliable transport protocol,which cannot fully adapt to the current poor satellite communication network transmission environment.The network management protocols such as Common Object Request Broker Architecture(CORBA)and WebService,which are suitable for distributed scenarios,have complex structure design,and will occupy too much equipment processing resources during deployment,so they are not suitable for the scenario with limited computing resources on board.Although Pulse Code Modulation(PCM)has a simple structure and takes up less equipment resources,it supports less data types and cannot meet various satellite network management requirements.Under the above background,it is designed in this paper that a reliable transmission-oriented satellite communication network management protocol.In the protocol,a variety of primitives are proposed,such as parameter query,parameter configuration,task configuration,alarm reporting,parameter cycle reporting,network access/exit authentication,and so on.Based on the improved BBR congestion control mechanism,the reliable transmission of network management protocol data is ensured,and then the function of network management protocol is designed and implemented.The specific research work is as follows:(1)In view of the unstable satellite links,limited resources,high delay,heterogeneous and dynamic topology of satellite communication network,a reliable transmission-oriented satellite communication network management and control protocol is proposed.Aiming at the problems of SNMP header redundancy,unable to meet the requirements of satellite communication network management,and unreliable network management data transmission,it is designed in this paper that communication primitives such as protocol message format and information query,parameter configuration,task configuration,alarm reporting,equipment parameter periodic reporting,network access/network exit authentication,etc.,which solves the problem that SNMP header is redundant and unable to meet the requirements of satellite network management Questions.In addition,by classifying the degree of delay jitter,the bottleneck bandwidth delay product is estimated by different measurement methods according to the degree of delay jitter,which is used to control the sending rate of the sender for congestion control.This method avoids the link congestion in the transmission process,and makes full use of the communication ability of satellite communication link to ensure the reliable and efficient transmission of network management data between ground management and control end and satellite agent end.(2)According to the reliable satellite communication network management protocol designed in this paper,through the demand analysis,system workflow design,system architecture design,the development of network management protocol module is finally realized.The design of network management protocol module includes:message sending sub module,message receiving sub module,operation processing sub module,user management sub module,user interaction sub module and so on.Finally,we test the network management protocol module in detail.The test results show that the network management protocol designed in this paper can be applied to the unreliable satellite communication network,and can support the network management operations such as information query,parameter configuration,task configuration,parameter active periodic reporting and network access/exit authentication.
