The 21 st century is the era of information networks.With the rapid development of data and information technology,massive amounts of complex data appear.These data contain a lot of value.However,when the ability to process data cannot effectively process massive amounts of data,we cannot compare reality based on these data.Problem analysis and decision-making.Data visualization can help people obtain deeper rules in massive amounts of complex data,solve existing problems or predict future trends.Therefore,data visualization has become one of the hot research issues in the current era.The rapid development of data collection and acquisition technology has increased the number and dimensions of data obtained,and multi-dimensional data has been seen everywhere in life.However,multi-dimensional data is difficult to understand and recognize,so it is very difficult to obtain effective information from it.Researchers'processing of multi-dimensional data tends to perform data statistics and calculations,and there are some limitations in the display and representation of data.Therefore,in the face of increasing multi-dimensional data,effective data processing is carried out to clarify data relationships,and from disordered data Filtering out effective information and visualizing it is the main problem faced by current data visualization applications.At present,multi-dimensional data has multiple display forms such as scatter matrix,parallel coordinate graph,Facebook graph,etc.There are huge differences in the information transmission efficiency of different data display forms in multi-dimensional data,but there is still a lot of research focusing on the information transmission efficiency of data display forms.less.This paper starts from the important phenomenon of multi-dimensional data,an important phenomenon in the information age,discusses the current research status of multi-dimensional data visualization,summarizes common data types and visualization forms,and combines multi-disciplinary perspectives(such as visual psychology,data analysis and data mining,graphics,Human-computer interaction,etc.)conduct multi-angle research and discussion on data visualization.This article focuses on the study of multi-dimensional data,and outlines the basic issues of multi-dimensional data visualization.From the perspective of data attributes,multi-dimensional data is divided into four data types:spatial data,time series data,hierarchical data,and network data.Based on the data visualization process and Minzner's visualization design hierarchical nesting model,the visualization of multi-dimensional data is divided into four levels,namely the data structure layer,the interaction mode layer,the visual expression layer and the technical realization layer,combined with actual case analysis For the visualization of different dimensions of multi-dimensional data,the DEA method is used to study the difference in information transmission efficiency of different data display forms through comparative experiments,and the experimental data is used to determine which data display form of different data types can give full play to the better visual information transmission effect.Finally,according to the experimental results,the design practice of the visual representation of the multi-dimensional data of different data types is carried out.
