Physical Unclonable Function(PUF),as a unique "Digital Finger Print",can generate keys on demand,and producted the keys do not to require stored in NVM.At the same time,PUF is also lightweight and highly secure Good features such as non-cloning and non-cloning can provide physical protection for information security.This paper basically focuses on the low dependability of the-Ring Oscillator PUF(RO PUF)and the low stochasticity of the generated response sequence,which leads to its low practicability.The aim is to improve the RO PUF practicality.Firstly,in view of the low reliability of the existing RO PUF structure,a configurable RO PUF(Multipath Low Consumption RO PUF,MLC-RO PUF)structure with multipath and low consumption was proposed.and completed the structure design on Xilinx Spartan3 E series FPGA.Through compared with traditional RO PUF,M-RO PUF,D-RO PUF and C-RO PUF,the structure has certain advantages in reliability and hardware resource consumption.Compared with other types of RO PUF,MLC-RO PUF has higher reliability under the influence of different temperature and voltage;in terms of resource consumption,MLC-RO PUF can generate more configurable data with less hardware resources.Then,in view of the insufficient randomness of the RO PUF response,on the one hand,in a static environment,the-frequency deregularization method is improved to receive a more stochastic frequency allocation with less filtering;on the other hand,in a dynamic environment,A RO frequency replacement algorithm is proposed.Contrapositive with the slope compensation algorithm and frequency offset algorithm,the method raised in this article has upper stability and better guarantees the stochastic of RO PUF response.Finally,starting from the actual application of RO PUF,the key generation scheme based on MLC-RO PUF is designed and simulated in this thesis,which demonstrate the possible of this schemen.At the same time,both the hardware resource consumption and time-consuming of key generation in terms of evaluation,compared with the M-RO PUF and D-RO PUF schemes,MLC?RO PUF can meet the design requirements of resourceconstrained devices and complete the key generation with a lower time-consuming,which has a higher practical advantage.
