A Study On The Measures Taken By The Media To Eliminate The Adverse Effects Of False Reports

With the development of the Internet technology and the improvement of the newspaper industry's level of practice,various news information is rapidly transmitting light at a speed not before.All the news information propagates quickly with the speed of light.To draw people's attention,the media pursues the speed of publishing,does not verify and eliminate the content of news information,or deliberately falsifies,resulting in the increasing number of false and untrue reports.False and untrue reports not only damage the credibility of the media,but also show that the whole press is irresponsible to the audience.False and untrue reports not only make the audience question the credibility of the media,but also cause harm to the reported objects.Untrue information also has a great impact on the economic benefits of enterprises.This article will start from the perspective of the adverse effects of false reports,to explore what adverse effects of false reports,and what effective measures the media have taken to eliminate these adverse effects.This paper analyzes how the media deal with the crisis events that cause their credibility,and discusses the measures of foreign media in eliminating the adverse effects of false reports.China's media should learn from foreign media in order to eliminate the negative effects of false reports.I hope this paper will explore how to eliminate the adverse effects of false reports,minimize the harm of false reports to the society and the public,and make the media better undertake the responsibility of news reporting.
