With the rapid development of Internet technology and computer technology,collaborative information retrieval has become a hot topic in the library and information field.The model of information search process takes cognition,behavior and emotion as the core elements,and explores the changing rules of core elements of individuals in six different stages,forming the basis of many existing literature.Many information behaviors occur in collaborative search environment,and the phenomenon of user collaboration with others has become very common.Therefore,it is necessary to study the cognition,behavior and emotion of users from the perspective of group and how to measure the changes of users' cognition,behavior and emotion in collaborative information search.This study will measure the learning engagement of users in collaborative information search from three dimensions of cognition,behavior and emotion based on the group perspective.First of all,through the pre experiment,the average time required for six groups(18 participants)with collaborative experience to complete the search task without time pressure was set as the time limit.Secondly,109 subjects were screened and grouped according to the questionnaire of College Students' cooperative ability.Finally,96 effective subjects were selected and divided into 16 groups of high and low cooperative ability.Thirdly,the mixed experimental design and questionnaire survey were used to complete the data collection.Finally,according to the experimental data,it analyzes how the collaborative ability and time pressure affect the learning engagement of users in the process of collaborative information search.Research findings: Both and time pressure have an impact on users' learning engagement,and both have an interactive impact on users' SERP average residence time and communication speed.Specifically,(1)In terms of cognitive engagement,collaboration capability have a significant impact on contextual cognition and domain knowledge cognition.A group with higher collaboration capability has a deeper understanding of the surrounding environment and a deeper understanding of domain knowledge,and relatively better learning outcome;Time pressure has a significant impact on domain knowledge cognition.Under time pressure,users will reduce the knowledge acquired during the search process and the cognitive structure of the search task is not perfect.(2)In terms of behavioral engagement,collaboration capability has a significant impact on the number of exchanges and communication speed.The group with higher collaboration capability communicates more frequently during search tasks and responds faster;Time pressure has a significant impact on the number of search styles,the number of times of changing search platforms,the total stay time of SERP,the number of webpages browsed,the number of useful webpages,the number of intensive readings,the number of related searches,the number of exchanges,and the communication time.Under no time pressure,users will issue more search queries,view more webpages,read webpages in detail,spend longer time on search results pages,take more steps when searching for information and the more time and frequency they interact with team members.(3)In terms of emotional engagement,collaboration capability has a significant impact on the positive emotions of users.The higher the collaboration capability,the more willing to express emotions and show more positive emotions;Time pressure has a significant impact on users' negative emotions,and time pressure will cause users to experience more negative emotions.According to the research results,it can be seen that improving the collaboration capability can improve the learning engagement of College Students' team in the collaborative search process.This study deeply analyzes the behavior of users in the process of collaborative information search,and provides reference and suggestions for the design and improvement of collaborative search system and how search engines design tools and interfaces to support users who search under time pressure,so as to improve user experience and collaborative search efficiency.
