With the introduction of the 5 th generation communication technology,people's attention has gradually shifted to high frequencies.Compared with metal antennas,dielectric resonance antennas have received more attention because of their low loss,high efficiency and easy integration.In addition,reconfigurable is also a research hotspot in dielectric resonance antennas,which can meet Now more complex and changing communication needs.Based on the dielectric resonance antenna,this paper has carried out a series of researches on the method of implementing multiple reconfigurable functions by changing the phase of different ports.This paper first proposes a new type of multi-port reconfigurable dielectric resonant antenna.It consists of a cylindrical and sector-shaped dielectric resonator structure,which can realize the reconfiguration of polarization mode and radiation pattern at the same time.An improved orthogonally coupled feeding network is used for feeding,providing stable phase difference in the 5 to 6 GHz band.Simulation results show that the relative bandwidth of linear polarization is 22.8%,the relative bandwidth of circular polarization is 18.1%,and the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth is 6%.Based on this,a series of improvements and optimizations have been made to the model in terms of parameters and structure,so that the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of circular polarization can reach 12.5%,and the relative bandwidth of linear polarization can reach 37%.Thanks to the combination of a dielectric resonant antenna and a reconfigurable structure,the design has a high degree of design freedom and is easy to miniaturize.Secondly,based on the design of the basic broadband circularly polarized antenna,this paper proposes a new bottom feeding network,which realizes the reconfigurability of broadband circular and linear polarization,and introduces a novel slot design in the copper-plated ground plane.In terms of the shape of the dielectric resonator,multiple dielectric layer structures are introduced.Through reasonable optimization,the newly introduced resonant structure is well matched with the original cylindrical dielectric resonator resonance frequency,and the purpose of expanding the bandwidth is achieved.The relative bandwidth of linear polarization reaches 19.7%,the relative bandwidth of circular polarization reaches 43.7%,the 3-dB axial ratio range reaches 17.8%,and the ports have good isolation between the operating frequency bands,achieving the same antenna structure.The polarization mode and radiation pattern can be reconstructed.The proposed antenna structure has good development potential and practical application value in future 5G applications.
