With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology,intelligent vehicles with autonomous driving and networked collaboration will become an important part of the future intelligent transportation system,and it will also become one of the typical application scenarios of 5G and post-5G communication systems.In order to meet the requirements of broadband and low-latency transmission of perception information for self-driving vehicles,the integrated design of radar and communication method is expected to break through the problem,in efficient broadband transmission of perception information between multi-radar sensors.Radar sensors are used to detect and perceive the surrounding environment of autonomous vehicles,and in V2X scenario the transmission,and sharing of multi-radar perception information has been realized based on the millimeter wave communication links.Therefore,aiming at the integrated design of radar and communication function under the V2X scenario,a software and hardware verification platform has been designed and built for radar detection based on millimeter wave communication signals.The main contributions are as follows:1)in order to solve the problem that the millimeter wave communication link working alone cannot realize the perception detection of the environment in V2X scenario,a hardware platform for radar detection based on the millimeter wave communication signal has been designed and built,which realized the information perception in V2X scenario without interruption of the millimeter wave communication link,and increasing the dimension of radar detection in V2X scenario,the software and hardware platform can accurately detect and locate vehicles in two dimensions of horizontal plane.2)Based on the built hardware platform,the visual display and verification software of radar detection based on millimeter wave communication signals has been designed and implemented,and the functions such as the verification of radar detection method,the visualization of radar scanning simulation,and the configuration of radar detection simulation interface have been realized.Compared with the traditional millimeter wave radar which only has the radial single-dimensional ranging function,the software and hardware platform can accurately detect and locate vehicles in two dimensions of horizontal plane.
