Information Dissemination Modeling Based On User Behavior Character

The rapidly developing social network realizes that users can simultaneously disseminate content to multiple users with social connections across regions who are on the social platform,furthermore which provides a rich data source for studying information dissemination in social network.However,the diversity of user behaviors,interactions and influences among users in the network make the law of content dissemination in social networks more complicated,which brings a huge challenge for the modeling of information dissemination in social network.This research focuses on the modeling of information propagation based on user behavior characters.The main contents of the research work include:(1)Two behavior models based on user character(CPB and CBB)are proposed,one is based on the probability density function and the other is based on the Bayesian method to calculate the state transition probability.The behavior models take two basic characters of user activity and ability,as well as four common type of user behavior into consideration.(2)On this basis,two information dissemination models based on user behavior character(CPBP and CBBP)are constructed.Based on MATLAB,the effects of information propagation parameters and behavior probability parameters of the CPBP and CBBP model on the dynamics of information propagation in social networks are simulated.(3)In order to verify the rationality of the proposed model,this paper crawls the Weibo dataset to extract the information including the basic character of users and the time when users participate in topics.Besides,two methods are used to obtain the parameters of the information dissemination model based on user character,one is the method which directly calculates the parameters based on the dataset,and the other is the method based on least square method to estimate parameters.By two information propagation models based on user behavior character to simulate the propagation dynamics of the specific topic.Simulation results show the information dissemination model based on user behavior character can accurately describe the true information transmission dynamic.
