Research And Implementation Of Decentralization Mechanism Of Trusted Network Resource Management

Network resource management relies on trusted infrastructures.However,current trusted infrastructures have centralized or hierarchical structures where root nodes often have privileges over subtrees.Hacked or malicious roots may affect subtrees by modifying IP ownership,routing and so on.Therefore,network resource management needs a kind of decentralized,tamper-resistant,peer to peer(P2P)trusted infrastructure.The emergence of blockchain such as Ethereum just meets the above requirements.The work of this thesis consists of two parts.It adds node admission control function to Ethereum through the trusted authentication process,and designs a decentralized network resource management system based on Ethereum technology.The trusted authentication process includes endorsement,voting policy and credibility model.The endorsement and voting policy give nodes the authority to manage network resources.The credibility model provides a basis for the system to revoke the authority and even recycle the allocated network resources.This thesis compares the network resource management that includes the trusted authentication process with traditional network resource management through experiments,and observes the performance of the system when nodes are hacked or malicious.The experimental results show that the system overhead increased by the trusted authentication process is within a reasonable range.When a node is hacked or malicious,its endorsement authentication is revoked and the node cannot continue to manage the network resources.The decentralized network resource management system enables nodes in Ethereum to apply,allocate and transfer network resources in a decentralized style.In this system,the management process of network resources is recognized by all nodes in Ethereum,rather than any single node.In addition,the system can effectively deal with common network security issues such as path forgery and route leakage.It improves the security and stability of network resource management and realizes the decentralized management process.
