OLT is the core device of the "last mile" in the PON network,and its performance and intelligence are important factors affecting the quality of the entire access network.Traditional OLTs have problems such as resource consolidation,difficulty in guaranteeing service Qo S,and high operation and maintenance costs.As a result,the access network service provisioning process is complicated,differentiated configurations are complicated,and it is difficult to provide differentiated services for users.If the vOLT system is introduced into the traditional OLT for virtualization,it can solve the problems faced by the existing network.In recent years,SDN technology,which has received wide attention,aims to change the overall architecture of the network.By opening the northbound interface and separating the forwarding plane and control plane of the forwarding equipment and access network equipment,the network can be dynamically programmable.Therefore,the introduction of SDN controller in the vOLT system can further optimize the business provisioning process and provide differentiated services.This thesis proposes to build a vOLT system based on SDN.The system can implement separation of the data plane and the control plane in the access network device by using virtualization,the unified management,control and scheduling of access network resources by centralization,and the opening of access network resources and capabilities by API application interface,so as to realize the application-oriented and customer-oriented intelligent access network.The main research contents of the thesis include the following aspects:First of all,in-depth investigation of the research status of PON network,and proposed an SDN-based vOLT control management system for the challenges faced by the current access network.Secondly,based on the requirements analysis,this thesis designs and implements the management control module of the vOLT system.The system can be divided into three major modules: EMS/SDN controller,vOLT-CP and vOLT-UP,and i OMCI southbound interface and vOLT northbound interface.These modules and interfaces are designed and implemented in detail in this thesis.Thirdly,through networking and packet analysis,the system designed in this thesis can not only realize the basic functions of PON network in vOLT mode,but also support some VLAN functions configured based on the YANG model.The vOLT management control system designed and implemented based on SDN in this thesis strips off some functions of the traditional OLT and implements the decoupling between ONU and OLT devices.The innovation of this thesis is to virtualize the OLT function through the vOLT-CP layer and add the YANG module to make the northbound interface support the SDN controller.
