Image Processing And Software Design For Glass Printing

Glass printing is a glass-based inkjet printing technology.Its products have the advantages of acid and alkali resistance,stable color,and strong artistic sense,which are widely used in curtain walls,window,office partitions.Glass printing has not been widely popularized because of the high production cost.In order to reduce the cost and further promote glass printing,this paper has done related research on the key technologies of image processing.The contributions of this article are as follows:Firstly,this article proposes an image editing method by combining the bitmap and vector.The main work of this method are bitmap editing,vector editing and conversion between bitmap and vector illustration.This method combine the advantages of bitmap and vector editing with pixel editing,color expression,typesetting and no distortion.Secondly,this article proposes a color management solution for glass printing.The main process of this solution includes calibration of display equipment,the creation of printer ICC profile,forward and reverse ICC processing.With this color management solution,the color of the image between the devices could be highly consistent,printer could be perform optimally and the printed color could be fully expressed.Thirdly,this article proposes a color separation algorithm with multi-levels grayscale for glass printing.The algorithm has four main steps: preparing the basic color,determining the printing grayscale levels,mapping pixel,and diffusing error.With this algorithm,each nozzle could form multiple ink droplet states.Compared with binary printing,using this algorithm could reduce the overall output color difference of the printed image and improve the color expressiveness of the image.Finally,this article designs a image processing software under Windows platform.The software integrates image processing modules such as bitmap and vector editing,color management and color separation processing.And it has the advantages of highspeed image processing,friendly interface design,easy maintenance and expansion.
