Inkjet printing is a non-contact printing technique,chromatic image comes out by the nozzle spraying the chosen inks onto proper medium.Color separation is a process that separates the digital image into several layers according to the inks’ color.These layers tells the printer how to spray the chosen inks.Regarding the medium’ s transparency and inks’ flexibility,this thesis proposes a color separation algorithm for glass printing,which involves the transparency channel.Besides,it realizes the image style transfer based on CNN,and applies it to printing customization.After that,a complete set of inkjet printing system is used to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.The whole thesis consisted of the following three parts.Firstly,it proposes a color separation algorithm that can be easily applied to n arbitrary colors’ case and transparency data is considered as well.The whole process includes basic color preparation,transparency channel dealing and image separation.This algorithm studies the transparency of glass printing which have never been researched before,and is easier,more extensible than other algorithms.Secondly,notice that content and style information can be extracted respectively by convolutional neural network.This thesis extracts the content of original image as well as the style of a chosen image,then recombines them and separates its color.Meanwhile the transparency information of the original image is still kept.This style transfer process promotes the artistic expressiveness of the glass printing to a certain extent.Thirdly,this thesis applies the algorithm above to a local-use inkjet printer.The printer contains machine frame,ink path,gas path,circuit board,inkjet nozzle in hardware,and style transfer,color separation in software.The printer here is based on the color separation algorithm this thesis proposes,the printing is colorful,fast and exquisite,enough to prove the reliability and feasibility of the algorithm.
