With the rapid development of information technology, the era of the Internet of Everything is coming. As an important part of the Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks(WSNs)have received extensive attention in various fields. However,in the process of popularization and application of WSNs,they face serious security issues. If there is no secure data transmission in the network,an attacker will easily obtain sensitive data in the network,or even forge some data to attack the network, which will cause the confidentiality and integrity of the data collected by the network to be questioned.Researchers have conducted research on the security management mechanism of different network layers of WSNs.Among various security management mechanisms, the key management problem has always been a hotspot in security research. The key management scheme in this paper is designed under the heterogeneous WSNs model and has achieved good performance. This paper proposed two schemes under the heterogeneous WSNs model: key management scheme realizing location privacy protection and key management scheme based on Pairing-free identity based digital signatures(PF-IBS)algorithm.Some key management schemes based on the node's own requirements to establish the session key often need to be completed in conjunction with the network routing structure. The generation of the network routing structure requires the cluster head(CH)or base station(BS)to obtain the node's location information in advance.Once the location privacy information of the nodes in the network is leaked,an attacker can easily discover the nodes and capture the nodes(especially the nodes in some important locations),which will cause the network partitioning to seriously affect the upload of the data collected by the network nodes. This paper combines the identity-based cryptography(IBC)algorithm and elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)algorithm to realize the protection of node location privacy information and secure message identity authentication. The experimental results show that the proposed key management scheme for protecting the privacy of node locations improves network security and occupies less key storage space, but the drawback of this scheme is at the cost of energy consumption. On the basis of the above proposed scheme, this paper hoped to reduce energy consumption while ensuring network security. This paper found that it can save a lot of energy for the network by changing the network model and using the PF-IBS algorithm to complete the message identity authentication of the key establishment process.Experimental results show that the second proposed key management scheme not only enhances network security, but also saves energy consumption. However,it occupies more key storage space.
