The reality TV drama "Ode to Joy" quickly became an annual popular TV drama after it was broadcast, and it has attracted extensive attention and discussion in the society due to the class topics involved in the drama. In recent years, popular reality TV dramas have also become more and more popular. This class of writing tends to appear. As an art form that focuses on reproducing reality, this type of TV series reflects a class problem existing in society, which is a useful attempt. But in the existing research, there is little attention to the writing of the TV drama class, and the corresponding theoretical observation is lacking. Therefore, this article takes the TV series "Ode to Joy" as a typical case, takes Bourdieu's class theory as the main theoretical basis, and combines the social analysis research results of our country's social science research group to analyze the show. The main research objectives are: Is it possible to summarize from a theoretical level at which levels of such TV dramas can express class topics? What expressions of TV series are these aspects combined? When writing class differentiation, what are the lessons worth learning from, and what are the deficiencies? After analysis,it was found that:(1)The play also contains the logic of class distinction that Bourdieu obtained during the class study, which gradually deepened from the formation of different classes, the differences between classes and the separation between classes. The theme of social stratum stratification in the play.(2)In terms of the formation of strata, the play mainly establishes its ownership of economic capital, cultural capital, and social capital through the formation of character backgrounds so that the characters in the play have different stratum positioning;in terms of stratum differences, the play mainly through the play The symbolization of the props and scenes in the exhibition is reflected in the differences in preferences of different classes in selecting items and spaces;in terms of class division,it is mainly extracted through the social relationship existing between the classes, from the social field and cultural exchange field The rules embodied in the domain, the marriage field, and the exclusion of the class that does not conform to the field rules are reflected.(3)The play is more successful in characterization.Through the innovation of the prototype characters,it reflects the timeliness of the character's progress with the times and the stratum that echoes the theme of the play;the play also has obvious deficiencies.First, when artistically retouching the actual situation, the arrangement of the conflict of the drama deviates from the theme of the drama in order to attract attention;secondly, there is a certain deviation in the focus when presenting the problem of class differentiation, and it has not assumed the value-based mission of literary and artistic works.
