Passive optical network system based on wavelength division multiplexing technology has become an important solution for the next generation optical access network and 5G fronthaul with its excellent capacity of utilizing resources.The colorless ONUs based on wavelength tunable lasers is an important technology to simplify the network structure,use wavelength resources efficiently and reduce the cost of construction investment.This paper designs a verification scheme for centralized wavelength allocation and regulation based on wireless technology,builds a WDM-PON experimental verification system that supports 32 wavelength tunable ONUs and completes the verification of wavelength tuning.The main research results are as follows:(1)Based on the study of the implementation technology of colorless ONUs and the verification requirements of the centralized regulation WDM-PON system,a scheme for the verification module based on wavelength tunable lasers is designed.The verification module is designed from the following two aspects: the design of the MCU code and the design of wireless communication protocols.(2)The correctness of the design of the verification module is verified by using optical tunable transceivers that has been calibrated as experimental objects.Build a WDM-PON experimental verification system that supports wavelength centralized control of 32 ONUs.Through the use of wireless network technology for centralized management and control of ONU's wavelength by OLT,the experimental verification of each ONU's internal wavelength tuning function is completed.This module can be used to build a test platform for 5G tunable lasers.
