With the development of society and the advancement of technology,people have higher and higher expectations for smart life,and more high-tech industrialized products have emerged.The millimeter-wave radar based on electromagnetic waves has a dazzling performance.With the high-quality characteristics of millimeter wave itself,the application of millimeter wave radar in life and industrial applications is also endless.In automotive systems,millimeter-wave radar is not affected by bad weather such as light,rain,wind and sand.Millimeter-wave radar can be applied to automobile autopilot systems and reversing radar auxiliary systems;in industry,millimeter-wave radar can be used High-resolution characteristics,flaw detection and micro-vibration detection of precision instruments;in environmental monitoring,millimeter-wave radar can be used instead of visual sensors to monitor the detection area,while protecting the privacy of pedestrians in the detected area;On the man-machine,the positioning by means of millimeter wave radar and the automatic landing of the drone are realized.It can be seen that millimeter wave radar has been well integrated into our lives.This article will introduce in detail the use of millimeter-wave radar to realize the design of people counting,attitude recognition and positioning tracking system in the monitoring area.Firstly,the outstanding application and significance of millimeter-wave radar in recent years are analyzed,and the advantages and feasibility of using millimeter-wave radar as regional monitoring are derived from it.Later,related technologies used in the design of this system will be introduced,such as the FMCW radar ranging,speed measurement principle,CFAR filtering principle,and clustering and tracking algorithms.Then it will introduce the system architecture from both hardware and software,and point out the design significance of the hardware and software system.After that,the selection and application of related technologies in this system will be detailed.Finally,the software and hardware systems are integrated for system testing,and the system operation algorithm is continuously optimized during the test process,so that the system operation effect tends to be stable and good.
