With the development of science and technology, more and more high-tech products into people's lives. The digitalization of everything in homes, businesses, and dense areas drives Wi Fi technology to continuously innovate to meet growing customer demand. In March 2019,the IEEE Standards Association initiated a project review of the next-generation WLAN standard EHT(Extremely High Throughput)working group and named it 802.11 be.In order to achieve higher throughput and lower latency, enabling the 6GHz band will be a major improvement over 802.11 be.This article will start from the current research status of the 802.11 be standard, and improve the MAC protocol on the function of multi-band cooperative communication in the 6GHz band and the 2.4G/5.8G band.In order to get more flexible band operation on 6G and traditional 2.4G/5.8G channels, this paper first proposes a cross-carrier multi-channel data reception mechanism, which effectively solves the problem of simultaneously processing the same service flow in the 6G band and the 2.4G/5.8G band. This mechanism greatly improves the data transmission rate and avoid the waste of spectrum resources.Due to the higher requirements for low latency, based on the existing multi-radio stations(STA),this paper proposes a method to guarantee TSN(Time Sensitive Netwoking)services.Through the cross-carrier communication between the AP and the STA,the transmission process of the low-priority service is interrupted when the channel is occupied for a long period of time, and the transmission of delay-sensitive services is preferentially guaranteed to reduce the data delay of the high-priority service.Aiming at the use of the 6GHz band, this paper proposes a protection mechanism for 6G scheduling information transmitted. This method transmit 6G scheduling information through the 2.4G/5.8G band to improve the stability of 6G scheduling information and achieve higher spectrum utilization. This article's innovative research on the next-generation Wi Fi standard 802.11 be Media Access Control(MAC)protocol is compatible with existing technologies. All this mechanisms meet the IEEE working group's requirements for 802.11 be like high throughput, high stability, and low latency. Finally, the feasibility of the design scheme was confirmed by simulation.Based on the existing wireless local area network standards and the key research directions of 802.11 be,this paper proposes several MAC layer optimization schemes, and simulate the advantages of the schemes. The research contents of this paper is of great significance to the advancement of the 802.11 be standard and the development of WLAN technology.
