With the continuous development of radar and communication technology,performance of equipment has a continuous improvement of equipment,there have a continuous integration of platform system,countries worldwide are vigorously developing to integrate radar and communication system.Radar and communication integration system is used to detect external radiation source targets,which has a prefer characteristics to counter the four threats.5G signal will cover the whole world near future,it has the advantages of high working frequency band,wide transmission band and high density of base station,which has been paid much attention by radar researchers of external radiation source.Therefore,many researchers at domestic and overseas have been attracted to research the radar performance of 5G signals,.This paper mainly studies the radar resolution and radar detection capability of 5G signals.the main achievements are as follows:First,aiming at the the fact that 5G technology has just begun to be deployed and networked in countries around the world,the application experience of 5G signal in radar aspect is relatively lacking,especially when 5G signal is used as external radiation source signal.At present,the radar discrimination performance and radar detection performance of 5G signal have not been analyzed and studied in detail.In this paper,we analysis the radar performance of 5G signal to makewe have sufficient preparations for the target detection related work of 5G signal.And we studied the signal parameter and ambugity function based on 5G frame data.Then,5G network is only justly tested in some universities and regions at present,which makes 5G signal cannot be acquired anytime and anywhere to achieve target detection.5G signal parameters can be flexibly configured according to application scenarios,so this paper studies and analyzes the parameter selection range and situation of 5G signal in several typical application scenarios.At last,we constructed the dual-base radar application scene to simulate the echo scene of external radiation source.Theoretical derivation and simulation are carried out from the two key ways of 5G signal form and radar signal processing,the radar system for Low altitude drone swarm detection of 5G signal is built to realize velocity measurement and moving targets imaging.Through analysis and simulation,it is obviews that the 5G signal of the system is capable of generating 5G parameter OFDM signal with random information and it is applied to Low altitude drone swarm detection.Through the simulation of the system,the feasibility of 5G signal of passive radar external radiation source is verified.
