With the continuous development of contemporary national defense technology,in the fields of radar detection, stealth and anti-stealth technology, broadband and ultra-wideband radar, rapid prediction of the target's broadband Radar Cross Section(RCS)plays an important role. The traditional Method of Moments(MoM)needs to be calculated for each frequency point when solving the target's broadband RCS.As the electrical size and complexity of the target increase, and the RCS curve changes rapidly with frequency,it is necessary to reduce the frequency step interval to obtain an accurate frequency response, which will consume a lot of calculation time and is not feasible. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a faster and more accurate method for analyzing the target broadband RCS.In order to solve this difficulty, this paper applies Chebyshev approximation technique(CAT)to the analysis of target broadband RCS based on the Subdomain Method of Moments(SMoM)and Subdomain Adaptive Integral Method(SAIM).The main research work includes the following aspects:The paper first introduces the basic theory of the moment method, analyzes the basic process and key steps of solving operator equations from the mathematical level, and analyzes the establishment process of the electric field integral equation(EFIE),The specific steps for solving the conductor target are given, and then the numerical example is used to verify the effectiveness of the moment method to solve the conductor target RCS.Finally, the adaptive integral method(AIM)is used to accelerate the multiplication calculation of the matrix and vector in the MoM based on the electric field integral equation, and the storage impedance matrix is sparse, which greatly reduces the calculation memory requirements and calculation time.Secondly,in order to solve the problem of large calculation amount and high memory requirement when the traditional MoM analyzes the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of complex electrically large-sized targets, and the problem that the traditional AIM wastes a lot of auxiliary point sources, the SMoM and SAIM proposed in this paper introduce the idea of Domain Decomposition Method(DDM)to divide the complex electrical large-scale target into multiple regions, and each subdomain can be solved independently by MoM or AIM,because only one subdomain needs to be processed at a time, the amount of calculation and storage for a single time can be greatly reduced. Finally, based on the above method, this paper combines CAT with SMoM and SAIM,only need to obtain the surface current at the frequency sampling point of Chebyshev-Gauss in the frequency band,we can quickly obtain the surface current at any other frequency point in the frequency band,so as to achieve the goal Quick estimation of broadband RCS.Furthermore, the Chebyshev polynomial through a rational function for Meahly approximation can achieve better accuracy.Compared with traditional MoM and AIM,the method proposed in this paper greatly improves the calculation efficiency without affecting the accuracy.
