Nowadays, information technology is used in many areas such as communication, medicine and national defence, and the rapid propagation of information is mainly dependent on electromagnetic wave. Especially in the field of national defence, once one gets the target information quickly and accurately, one can gain the priority. Computational electromagnetics plays an important role in the field of microwave. So its rapid development is of great significance for promoting the development of national defence technology.Analysis of electromagnetic scattering of complex geometries has attracted much attention in computational electromagnetic scattering. This paper is organized as follows. Section 1 introduces the time-domain integral equation(TDIE) method and its solution techniques based on MOT algorithm and describes the time-domain equivalent dipole moment(TD-EDM)method for solving time-domain integral equation. Section 2 introduces the time-domain fast dipole method(TD-FDM) and analyses its theoretical computational complexity and memory requirement. In Section3, parallel version of TD-FDM method is developed in this paper. At last, some numerical examples have been given to verify the correctness and efficiency of this parallel method.
