With the development of phased array radar technology,scanning in a larger space has the same high requirements for the scanning angle and beam width of the phased array radar.And at the same time,the increasing amount of information transmission puts forward higher requirements on the bandwidth of the phased array radar.Therefore,a wide-bandwidth beam array antenna with wide-angle scanning is indispensable.A linear array of wide-bandwidth beams with wide-angle scanning is proposed in this paper,based on the relevant principles of tightly coupled array antennas and combined with loading absorber structure technology.And on this basis,an 8*8 planar array with wide bandwidth angle scanning is proposed.The main content of the paper is as follows:First of all,this article briefly introduces the basic theory of array antenna,expounding the pattern theorem and scanning principle of array antenna.The circuit theory of tightly coupled array antenna is introduced in detail,and the circuit theory is simulated and verified.Then,a tightly coupled antenna element with an interdigitated structure was designed.Secondly,this article introduces the relevant principles of the resistive frequency selective surface(RFSS),and a single ring RFSS absorber structure is studied.An ultra-wideband absorber is designed with an absorption rate greater than 0.84 within the operating frequency band,on the basis of the single ring RFSS structure absorber.Next,a tightly coupled antenna unit loaded with an absorber structure was designed in conjunction with the tightly coupled antenna unit of the interdigital structure.And it achieves an impedance bandwidth of less than 2 within the operating band,and achieves a performance of E-plane and H-plane 3d B beamwidth greater than 100 degrees within the operating frequency band.Then a broadband balun impedance transformation structure matching the impedance of the feed port is desig.Then a linear array antenna with wide bandwidth angle beam scanning on the E-plane is studied.Subsequently,a simulation method for simulating a large array was analyzed,and an 8 * 8 wide bandwidth angle scanning planar array is designed for verification.The 8*8 planar array achieves good wide angle scanning characteristics of-30 degrees and-45 degrees on the E and H planes respectively,having a bandwidth of 3GHz-7.9GHz and it verified the theory of simulating large arrays,realizing the wide-angle scanning and wideband characteristics.
