With the popularization of the Internet and the continuous development of social informationization,the process of scientific and technological development and innovation is becoming more and more complex.With the online discussion platform,the mode of solving collaborative problems by group discussion is becoming more and more popular.As a new way of information communication,group discussion scholars'research on the influencing factors of group discussion in online environment is more focused on the design and application of information systems,and lack of systematic guidance of information management theory,which makes the related research more scattered In the past,scholars' research on the influencing factors of group discussion in online environment focused more on the analysis of the group discussion process,and lacked the research on the impact of the results.In fact,according to the existing research,it is impossible to directly and effectively improve the results of group discussions in online environment.Based on this,this paper attempts to systematically analyze the influencing factors of group discussion in online environment based on the"information-technology-people" theory in the field of information management,construct the research model of the influencing factors of group discussion performance in online environment,put forward corresponding research hypotheses,obtain objective data from Much forum by data grabbing,and use statistical analysis software SPSS 24.0 for empirical analysis,finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve group discussion performance in online environment,in order to inject new theoretical results into the research on the influencing factors of group discussion performance in online environment,and also have certain guiding significance for the management and development of the online discussion platform in the future.The details are as follows:(1)Explain the basic theory of group discussion in online environment.This paper systematically summarizes the group discussion in online environment and the group discussion performance in online environment,and defines the connotation of key concepts such as group discussion in online environment and group discussion performance in online environment,analyzes the characteristics of group discussion in online environment from four aspects:discussion object,discussion environment,discussion users and discussion process,and puts forward the core elements of group discussion in online environment—online discussion information,online discussion platform,online discussion users,and clear Characterization index of group discussion performance in online environment.(2)Systematic analyze the influencing factors of group discussion performance in online environment.Firstly,it expounds "information-technology-people" theory,and then combines its core ideas and elements to on the characteristics of the information content,the "technical" dimension focuses on the technical level of the platform,and the "people" dimension focuses on the characteristics of the
