As an expansion of information literacy,data literacy is increasingly becoming an essential basic literacy of citizens in the era of big data.Our life,study and work are deeply affected by the big data environment.As the backbone of society in the future,the level of data literacy of senior high school students will affect the development of society.Therefore,understanding the current development status of data literacy of senior high school students,cultivating students' data literacy has become an important topic in the new round of curriculum reform.Based on IRT,this study forms a set of “Data Literacy Survey Test Paper for Senior High School Students”,and uses SPSS to explore the measured data,so as to understand the development status of senior high school students' data literacy.The main contents and results of this study are as follows:(1)Literature research method is used to sort the literature on data literacy at home and abroad.Based on the existing literature,combined with the developmental needs and cognitive characteristics of senior high school students,this thesis defines the connotation of data literacy of senior high school students.(2)Construct the structural model of data literacy of senior high school students.Based on the three-dimensional goal of the curriculum reform,data literacy is divided into four dimensions: data skills,data thinking,data consciousness and data ethics,which are subdivided into 11 first-level indicators and 17 second-level indicators.(3)Design test paper.After reading mathematics textbooks and curriculum standards of senior high school,a set of predictive test papers is drawn up.In a senior high school in G,100 students are randomly selected for a pretest.SPSS and general partial credit model are used to calculate the reliability,validity and item parameters.After discussing with the front-line teachers in senior high school,the test papers are revised and the formal test papers are obtained.(4)Analyze the data.In a high school in G,398 students are randomly selected for a formal test.The study uses SPSS to explore whether there are significant differences in the data literacy abilities among students of different ages,genders and subject selection intention,and the levels of students in different dimensions.It is found that the overall level of data literacy of this senior high school students is not high.(5)Make suggestions.According to the analysis results,this study puts forward feasible suggestions for schools,teachers and students.
