Education is the foundation.With the development of the times and the advancement of science and technology,3S technology is more and more used in high school geography teaching because of its unique advantages,and plays an important role in high school geography teaching.Because 3S technology has a certain degree of professionalism,how to use 3S technology to carry out high school geography teaching simply and efficiently is an urgent problem to be solved.Therefore,this paper takes the compulsory module of the new high school geography textbook of the People’s Education Edition as an example,discusses the advantages of 3S technology in high school geography teaching,analyzes the application status of 3S technology in high school geography teaching,and proposes a case design of high school geography teaching based on 3S technology.Feasible solutions and recommendations.First of all,using the literature analysis method to study the background,significance and current situation of 3S technology applied to high school geography teaching,select the research method,and sort out the research ideas.Define the relevant concepts,combine the theoretical basis,and discuss the advantages of 3S technology in high school geography teaching.Secondly,through questionnaires and interviews,the application status of 3S technology in high school geography teaching is investigated and analyzed.The results show that teachers and students have strong willingness to use 3S technology for geography teaching and learning,but due to the lack of simple and easy teaching cases,This makes it difficult to apply 3S technology in high school geography classroom teaching.Aiming at the existing problems and analyzing the geography curriculum standards,the content of new textbooks,students’ learning situation,and the basic functions of 3S technology,the basis for the design of teaching cases is proposed.Combined with the common functions of 3S technology,typical teaching cases are designed to provide teachers’ teaching.References and ideas.Taking the compulsory course "Observation of Landforms" in the new high school geography textbook of the People’s Education Edition as an example,specific teaching cases are designed for traditional teaching and 3S technology teaching respectively.Through the comparative analysis of the learning effect of the control class and the experimental class,it is found that 3S technology has significant advantages in cultivating students’ ability,stimulating learning interest,and improving performance.Finally,it puts forward some teaching case design suggestions,such as giving full play to the advantages of 3S technology,choosing appropriate 3S technology software and functions,and creating typical situations in combination with real life,so as to provide reference for front-line geography teachers to independently design and develop teaching cases.
