As the curriculum reform is processing intensely,the new curriculum standards are issued and new textbooks are published,the 2019 edition of high school biology textbooks is quite different from the previous one in 2007.However,many front-line teachers are not clear about the changes of the new textbooks compared with the old ones.If teachers can understand the changes made in the new textbook and the reasons for such changes,they will be able to get familiar with the new textbook and use it proficiently as soon as possible.At present,although there have been comparative researches on the new and old textbooks of compulsory 2-Genetics and Evolution,there is no detailed comparative study on the whole book page by page,no analysis based on ISM method,and no study on the reasons for the change of the new textbook compared with the old textbook.This study takes the 2007 edition of Human Education Edition(hereinafter referred to as the old textbook)and 2019 edition(hereinafter referred to as the new textbook)of Senior High School Biology Textbook 2-Heredity and Evolution as the research object.Based on the guidance of educational concepts and the curriculum standards of 2017 edition,the author adopts ISM method,literature method,text analysis method,comparative research method and case analysis method to make a systematic and detailed comparative study from six aspects-the cover,teaching material design,writing style,column setting,chapter content,experiment design and illustration application.Then,using the research results to analyze the reasons why the new teaching material changes from the old one.Besides,using ISM method to make a comparative analysis,focusing on the structure of the evolution chapters of the new and old textbooks and draw a hierarchical directed graph.The comparative study shows that the new textbooks are more professional,scientific and rigorous.Cultivate students' biological core literacy is the main purpose of the new textbook edition.Rich and colorful column,text and graphics are conducive for students to build life idea,to develop scientific thinking,to use scientific inquiry ability to solve the problem of production practice,to participate in scientific inquiry,even to promote social responsibility.In a word,it is undoubtedly contributed to all-roundly permeate students' core discipline literacy from multi-angle,.In essence,the new textbook edition provides a practical way to cultivate well-rounded students,so as to effectively implement the national education goal of "cultivating talents through virtue".The new teaching material pays more attention to the generative quality-abstracting the concept from the fact first,then giving the definition is more beneficial to the student to assimilate the concept.The new textbooks pay more attention to the consistency and continuity of materials than the old ones.The new textbook is also more systematic,adding concepts such as chromosomal variation and genetic testing to help students build knowledge frameworks.The new textbooks more focuses on the creation of real situations,broadens students' horizons,and penetrates STS to enhance students' national pride,cultivate patriotic feelings,and promote awareness of science and technology value.There is a trifling change in the experimental design of the new and old textbooks,but the new one has added an important experiment.The discussion and analysis of the changes in the new teaching materials are as follows: The terms of professional science and technology in the new teaching materials are more scientific and rigorous,and mainstream terms are used instead of ambiguous terms;The concept of the new textbook is considered more comprehensively,and the misleading expressions in the old textbook are changed.The experimental expression of the new teaching material respects the original appearance of the history of science,and echoes before and after;The new textbook removes the controversial content in the old textbook and adds the research hot spot with important progress.
