Schema theory is a branch of cognitive psychology.Schema refers to the way of knowledge representation and storage formed around a certain topic. The concept of problem schema is derived from the application of schema theory to teaching.Problem schema refers to the overall representation of problems in a specific field. It includes the basic knowledge, conceptual laws and skills involved in solving such problems. This topic is based on the existing research conclusion that "the construction of problem schema can help students improve their problem-solving ability",through the research methods of literature research, investigation, interview and experiment, and takes the topic of "two pole model in electromagnetic induction" as an example to design schema teaching cases and carry out teaching practice,The quasi experimental research method was used to organize the experimental class and the control class for inspection.Teaching practice shows that the use of schema teaching method in senior high school physics exercise teaching can effectively improve students’ problem schema level, especially for students with learning difficulties and middle-class students. The traditional exercise teaching method has not achieved significant results in improving students’ problem schema level, which proves the feasibility of schema teaching in improving students’ problem schema level. The research conclusion of this topic can provide a reference for today’s front-line physics teachers on the exercise teaching mode, and make some exploration for further enriching the physics exercise teaching mode and improving students’ ability to solve physical problems.
