With the rapid development of social science and technology, information technology with multimedia and network technology as the core is widely used in modern teaching, and has become a powerful tool to improve the quality of education.Deep learning,as an important way to implement the fundamental task of Building Morality and cultivating students’ core literacy, has also attracted much attention under this background. When the curriculum standard clearly points out that the development and application of information technology is the booster of geography teaching reform, why can information technology promote deep learning? How to integrate information technology in geography classroom to achieve in-depth learning and what countermeasures are the problems that front-line teachers need to pay attention to.Based on this, this study mainly explores the current situation, deficiencies and Implementation Countermeasures of in-depth learning in senior high school geography classroom with the support of information technology,in order to improve the quality of geography teaching and promote students’ in-depth learning. The specific content is divided into the following three parts:In the first part, the paper focuses on the high school geography classroom teaching, puts forward the theoretical and practical significance, and defines the research path and framework based on the existing theoretical and practical achievements at home and abroad. The necessity of this study can be summarized as follows: there are few studies on the use of information technology to promote in-depth learning in geography classroom, and there are few strategies and paths of in-depth learning in geography classroom in senior high school supported by information technology;Lack of exploring the strategies of high school geography in-depth learning supported by information technology from the perspective of students’ learning; There are few in-depth learning teaching case designs supported by information technology, especially unit teaching design. In the second part, through the questionnaire survey of senior high school geography teachers and students, the paper sets questions around the core elements of in-depth learning,in order to understand the current situation of the use of information technology in the creation of situation, presentation content,teacher-student interaction, evaluation and reflection in senior high school geography classroom. The survey found that there are the following problems:(1)the ability and concept of front-line geography teachers to integrate information technology and geography teaching need to be improved. We need to get more teaching design examples that can be used for reference,as well as countermeasures and suggestions on using information technology to present content, create situation, enhance interaction and diversified evaluation.(2)Many front-line geography teachers have obvious misunderstandings about the integration of information technology and geography teaching, such as over reliance on information technology, blind use of new technology and so on.(3)Many teachers still pay attention to the explanation of knowledge according to their past teaching methods and experience. It is difficult to really make good use of information technology to lead students to participate in and explore, evaluate and reflect. In the third part,in order to deal with the shortcomings in the current situation, the paper puts forward the effective strategies of in-depth learning in senior high school geography classroom supported by information technology:(1)promote the integration of information technology and senior high school geography teaching from the perspective of unit design.(2)Visual presentation of goal discrimination and advanced learning through information technology.(3)Use information technology to create situations and solve important and difficult problems in teaching.(4)Rely on information technology to promote the acquisition and deep processing of geographical knowledge.(5)Using information technology to strengthen the interactive process and ability training in the classroom.(6)With the help of information technology, improve the diversified teaching evaluation system with equal emphasis on knowledge and ability.According to the strategy, take the "landform" unit teaching as an example to formulate detailed implementation steps, but the implementation of strategies and cases is lack of verification, and the effectiveness needs to be improved.
