Deepening the reform and innovation of teaching methods is the inevitable requirement of improving the quality of middle school ideological and political teaching.This research takes the main line situational teaching method as the research object,adopts the questionnaire survey method,the interview method,the observation method and the case study method to carry on the investigation and the practice exploration to the application status of the main line situational teaching method in the moral and rule of law class of three grades of a middle school in Chongzuo City,Guangxi.It is found that mainline situational teaching method has been used in ideological and political courses in middle schools,but there are some problems,such as low utilization rate,single source of materials,difficult situation integration,far-fetched integration between main lines,situation presentation way falling into the conventional pattern,not fully borrowing resources,and weak understanding of students.There are four main reasons for the problems: the teaching method's own theoretical support is weak,the application of high requirements;Teachers' individual subject quality is limited and collective help is not focused on sending force;The education system is not stable and sustainable,and the number of teaching hours is limited;Students' attitudes and emotions are not good,and their cognitive and accepting abilities are different.By explaining the general application process of the teaching method and specific examples for the exploration of teaching practice,the author puts forward perfect countermeasures and suggestions from the three dimensions of improving teachers' quality,upgrading competency,perfecting system operation,guaranteeing teaching and research activity,enhancing students' enthusiasm and improving their research ability.
