Art course is a compulsory course in the stage of basic education.It plays an important role in cultivating students' ability to feel,appreciate and create beauty.In recent years,China has attached great importance to the development of aesthetic education and art education.On October 15,2020,the CPC Central Committee issued the opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and improving school aesthetic education in the new era,which requires Comprehensively Strengthening and improving school aesthetic education and emphasizes cultivating students' healthy and upward aesthetic interest through the implementation of art courses.In July 2021,the CPC Central Committee issued the opinions on further reducing the homework burden and after-school training burden of students in the stage of compulsory education.The "double reduction" has become an important trend in the reform and development of basic education in China,pointing to the return of human development and the essence of education,which has created new development opportunities for the development of aesthetic education and put forward higher requirements for the art curriculum undertaking aesthetic education.However,in the actual development of basic education,there are still some problems in the implementation of art curriculum,which should be paid enough attention.Using the methods of questionnaire,interview and classroom observation,this study selects 16 art teachers and 400 students from four primary schools in X District of Taiyuan as the research object to deeply understand the current situation of the implementation of art curriculum in four primary schools in X District of Taiyuan.Through the analysis,it is found that the implementation of art curriculum in primary school has achieved certain results.But there are also many problems,mainly including: there is a deviation in the understanding of art curriculum;The content of art course is rigidly bound by teaching materials;The teaching method of art course is monotonous;Art curriculum evaluation lacks integrity;Lack of supporting facilities for art courses.As far as the specific reasons are concerned,the lingering influence of exam oriented education;The bondage of traditional teaching ideas;Influenced by the traditional classroom teaching mode;Lack of evaluation system;Insufficient investment in art education.According to the problems existing in the implementation of primary school art curriculum and the analysis of its causes,this study puts forward the following five Optimization Countermeasures: first,clarify the curriculum concept and pay attention to aesthetic education.Understanding beauty in thought;Practical beauty in education and teaching;Enrich beauty in reform and development.Second,enrich the content of art courses and highlight humanistic values.Based on traditional culture;Combine students' interests.Third,improve the teaching methods of art courses and mobilize students' enthusiasm.Adopt flexible teaching methods;Make full use of multimedia technology.Fourth,improve the art curriculum evaluation system and respect students' subjectivity and personality.Integrate into diversified evaluation subjects;Pay attention to the integrity of the evaluation content;Optimize the evaluation method.Fifth,improve the art curriculum guarantee system to ensure the continuous development of the curriculum.Improve the professional level of art teachers;Actively provide complete equipment and equipment.
