The development of artificial intelligence is gradually impacting the traditional mode of talent training in exam-oriented education,and robot education has received more and more attention.However,how to take good robotics courses in practical teaching and how to improve students’ comprehensive abilities in robotics classrooms are all issues worth exploring.This research adopts literature research method,interview method,questionnaire survey method and classroom observation method.Firstly,by combing the literature,the existing problems and core concepts of robotics teaching and projectbased learning are clarified,the elements of project-based learning and the feasibility of using project-based learning mode to teach robotics courses are analyzed,and a project-based learning teaching that conforms to robotics curriculum standards is designed.Design and put the instructional design into practice.By analyzing the results of the project implementation,it is concluded that the robotic instructional design based on project-based learning is conducive to improving students’ communication,teamwork,critical thinking,problem-solving ability,and creativity.The research is divided into four parts as follows:Firstly,the background is sorted out,and the research questions,research purposes,and research significance are clarified.Through the literature research method,the current situation of project-based learning and robot education at home and abroad is sorted out,and the research hotspots and existing problems are clarified.The second research content and research methods,and the concept of robot teaching and projectbased learning are defined,and the constructivist learning theory,learning pyramid,and cognitive-discovery learning theory are used as the theoretical support for the research,which lays the foundation for the teaching design of the research..Secondly,the teaching design of Abilix robot in junior middle school based on project-based learning is carried out.The process is as follows:First,the teachers of H Middle School in Hohhot City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were interviewed through the interview method,and the teaching status of the school’s robot classroom was clarified.The 5C scale was distributed to test the reliability and validity of the scale,and then the students who participated in the club in the school were surveyed on their learning situation and pre-tested with the 5C scale to understand the students’ understanding and comprehensive ability of robots.Then,the teaching mode of project-based learning is improved and refined under the existing mode of predecessors.The main processes are problem focus,knowledge exploration,planning,production and debugging,achievement exchange,and summary evaluation.The design elements of project-based learning and the curriculum standards related to robots in information technology are analyzed,and the Abilix robot teaching design based on project-based learning is carried out on this basis.Next,the teaching design of "Building a Smart Amusement Park" was practiced in the robot community.It is divided into five sub-projects,each of which is carried out in accordance with the project-based learning mode.After the implementation was completed,the learning effect was tested.Through the analysis of the evaluation form of the students’ project works,the S-T classroom observation and analysis of the classroom video,and the post-test of the 5C scale for the students,it was found that the project-based learning can effectively improve the communication of the students.Comprehensive skills such as communication,teamwork,critical thinking,problem solving,and creativity.Finally,the paper concludes,analyzes the insufficiency of the research,and makes a future prospect.This research enriches the category of project-based learning instructional design in robotics courses,provides instructional design ideas for improving students’ comprehensive ability,and hopes to contribute to robotics education in China’s basic education stage.
