“General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard”points out that teachers should train students' chemistry subject core literacy in the teaching process,and train students' ability to solve practical problems with chemical knowledge,The 2021 National Higher Education Entrance Examination points out that the test is not designed to determine whether a student will remember a particular point of knowledge,but rather whether the student will be able to solve and analyze a problem using what he or she has learned in real life,it's all about application.In this context,this article through the student survey and interviews with teachers to find out the reasons for students' problem-solving ability,then,through teaching practice,the spiral teaching method was applied to the teaching cases of “Redox” and“Elements enriched in seawater-chlorine”,the aim of this paper is to prove that spiral teaching method can increase students' learning pleasure,connect with life,enter essence,expand knowledge,and finally return to life,so as to cultivate students' problem-solving ability.This research is mainly divided into six parts as follows:The first part: Introduction.By summarizing,analyzing and summarizing the present research situation of spiral teaching and problem-solving ability at home and abroad,it is found that the spiral teaching mode is more widely used in higher vocational education,there is little research on the application of spiral teaching method to develop senior high school chemistry problem-solving ability.Therefore,this paper selects two cases to apply spiral teaching method to determine the relevant research ideas and methods.The second part: The core concept and theoretical basis.This paper defines the two core concepts of spiral teaching method and problem-solving ability,puts forward the concrete implementation steps of this study,and expounds the theoretical basis related to spiral teaching and problem-solving ability.The third part: The investigation of current situation of chemistry problem-solving ability in senior high school.Through students' questionnaire and students' interview,we can understand the problems existing in the process of solving students' problems,and we can cultivate students' cognitive interest and knowledge problems step by step in teaching,the problem-solving strategies,students' information processing and metacognition need teachers to take some measures to solve the problem,this paper uses the spiral teaching method to solve the problem.The four part: Case design and implementation of spiral teaching method.According to the students' relevant problems and the characteristics of the subject,two different types of content are selected for teaching practice.The five part: Teaching practice effect analysis.After practice,the teaching effect was analyzed from three dimensions: students' learning achievement,thinking of solving chemistry problems and solving life-style problems Through the analytical chemistry of problem-solving,it was found that the students in the experimental class were obviously better than those in the control class in the aspects of problem-solving strategies and methods Through the students' answers to the life-oriented questions,it is found that the students in the experimental class can apply the chemical knowledge they have learned to life more flexibly,and can skillfully apply the chemical principle to solve the practical problems and phenomena in life,therefore,the application of spiral teaching method is helpful to improve students' problem-solving ability.The six part: Research conclusions and prospects.The results show that the spiral teaching method accords with the students' cognitive development level and the characteristics of chemistry subject,and can enhance the students' learning pleasure and self-confidence,thus improving the students' problem-solving ability.
