Scientific inquiry literacy,which is the core quality of biology discipline in high school in China,not only emphasizes the cultivation of students' scientific inquiry ability,but also improves their cognition of scientific inquiry and the cultivation of relevant emotional consciousness.HPS education refers to the concept of integrating the History of Science,Philosophy of Science and Sociology of Science into Science curriculum.And scientific inquiry literacy has a strong correlation.Based on this,this study will try to cultivate students' scientific inquiry literacy in biology teaching of senior high school based on HPS education,so as to conduct strategic research.This study adopts the methods of literature research,investigation and action research.First of all,the author made use of literature research method to fully understand the domestic and foreign research progress on HPS education and scientific inquiry literacy,including the application of HPS education,cultivation methods of scientific inquiry literacy and evaluation methods of scientific inquiry literacy,and analyzed the current research results and deficiencies in these aspects.And found that the research on cultivating students' scientific inquiry literacy based on HPS education is not perfect.After defining the core concepts of this paper,the theoretical basis of this study is summarized,and the relationship between HPS education and scientific inquiry literacy is theoretically expounded.Then,a questionnaire survey was conducted among the students,and it was found that the students' understanding of HPS(history of science,philosophy of Science,and sociology of Science)was average,but their preference and acceptance in class were high.After that,we interviewed biology teachers in high school to learn about HPS education and the cultivation of scientific inquiry literacy,and collected their teaching suggestions.Through this investigation and research,it is found that HPS education based high school biology teaching to cultivate students' scientific inquiry literacy has certain feasibility,and provides a basis for HPS education based high school biology teaching strategy.Finally,by referring to a large number of excellent teaching design cases,combined with the actual situation of students and teachers I have learned from the investigation and the teaching suggestions of the instructor,and based on the fusion mode of Munch and Osborne,the teaching strategy of high school biology based on HPS education is proposed to cultivate students' scientific inquiry literacy.Then,the teaching design is carried out according to this strategy and applied to teaching practice,which proves that the high school biology teaching strategy based on HPS education can effectively cultivate students' scientific inquiry literacy,and improve their scientific inquiry ability,cognition of scientific inquiry and relevant emotional awareness under scientific inquiry literacy.After practice,the teaching strategy is mainly applicable to the teaching of principles,laws,theories and theoretical knowledge.This study,from both theoretical and practical levels,proposes a high school biology teaching strategy based on HPS education that is conducive to cultivating students' scientific inquiry literacy,which enriches the research on HPS education and scientific inquiry literacy to a certain extent.It provides some reference for biology teachers to cultivate students' scientific inquiry literacy.
