Abstract/Summary:
With the release of the new edition of the biology curriculum standard for compulsory education in 2022,the cultivation of core literacy has become the key to curriculum teaching and classroom teaching,pointing out the direction for the teaching of various subjects in the compulsory stage of junior middle school.The inquiry practice of core literacy cultivation includes two main contents: scientific inquiry and interdisciplinary practice.For the highly experimental biology,the importance of scientific inquiry is self-evident.This study focuses on the cultivation of scientific inquiry ability in the core literacy of junior high school biology,and uses inquiry teaching method to carry out teaching practice research on the basis of existing research and practice,in order to explore the teaching ways and methods to effectively improve the scientific inquiry ability of junior high school students.The main research contents and results are as follows1.By studying the education and personnel training policies issued by the relevant departments of the Party and the state in recent years(such as high school curriculum standards,compulsory education curriculum standards,etc.),it is further clarified that cultivating talents with inquiry spirit and ability is the requirement of the Party and the state for personnel training in the new era.2.By using the literature method,this paper collates and analyzes the literature related to the theory and practice of core literacy and scientific inquiry research in junior and senior high schools at home and abroad,and finds that there is little research and practice related to scientific inquiry in compulsory education stage,and there is no teaching method with reference value,which needs further practical research.3.Analyze the policy documents and test questions of the biological association examination in Chengdu in recent years,deconstruct and master the way of investigating the scientific inquiry ability of the current researcher region.The results show that using the general method of scientific inquiry to analyze the practical problems in life is the main form of investigation of students’ scientific inquiry ability.4.According to the questionnaire method and interview method conducted on the teaching status and problems of scientific inquiry,the teaching methods of scientific inquiry is still in the traditional teaching mode and no lot of inquiry activities;students lack of scientific inquiry ability and less general methods of scientific inquiry to solve the problems in life.5.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey,two classes were selected for scientific inquiry teaching practice.The results show that compared with the traditional teaching method,students ’inquiry teaching can better stimulate their interest in learning,students’ grasp the general method of scientific inquiry,students ’scientific inquiry ability has been effectively improved,and inquiry teaching also plays a certain role in the improvement of students’ biological performance.6.Through teaching practice,we can explore the inquiry-based teaching process suitable for junior middle school,optimize the classroom rhythm of inquiry-based teaching,and provide practical reference for the teaching method of scientific inquiry ability cultivation in junior middle school.To sum up,inquiry teaching is conducive to the cultivation of students ’scientific inquiry ability,plays a positive role in improving students’ interest in learning and classroom teaching effect,and is an important way and method to adapt to the cultivation of biological science inquiry in junior middle school.
