In recent years,due to continuous development of mathematics education in China and the vigorous promotion of quality education,the mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education began to put forward the teaching goal of "four Basics".This shows that China's basic mathematics education has officially changed from "double basic" teaching to "four basic" teaching.Mathematical thinking methods began to be widely studied and officially entered the mathematics classroom.And Mathematics is a science that studies quantitative relations and spatial forms.Therefore,in mathematics teaching,the thought of the combination of number and form is a valuable research problem.Firstly,by collecting,sorting and analyzing a large number of documents,this paper shows that the thought of the combination of number and form has a long history;it is a sharp tool to solve mathematical problems;it has a unique application in teaching.Secondly,by studying the junior middle school mathematics textbook published by Beijing Normal University,this paper combs the specific application and types of the thought of number form combination in the textbook,in order to attract the attention of mathematics teachers and students.Thirdly,through the investigation of the practical application of the combination of number and form in the practice school,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)Junior middle school mathematics teachers pay attention to the infiltration and cultivation of students' thought of combination of number and form in teaching.They often infiltrate in the exercise class,especially in the course contents such as functions,graphics and coordinates,but a few teachers fail to fully understand the value of the combination of number and shape.(2)Junior middle school students generally believe that the combination of number and form is helpful to learning,but the application consciousness of the combination of number and form is not strong.The seventh grade students' consciousness of "helping numbers with shapes" is higher than that of "helping shapes with numbers",while the eighth and ninth grade students' consciousness of "helping shapes with numbers" is higher than that of "helping numbers with shapes".In addition,the students' understanding of the thought of logarithmic shape combination is not clear and the understanding is not in place.(3)The ability of junior middle school students to apply the thought of combination of number and form is not high.Among them,When drawing graphics according to the description of language,Seventh graders can't draw comprehensive graphics.;eighth and ninth grade students' ability to "helping numbers with shapes" is not strong.When the eighth grade students solve the geometric proof problem with "helping shapes with numbers",the proof process is not standardized;The ninth grade students' point drawing and drawing in the rectangular coordinate system are not accurate.(4)There is no significant difference in the problem-solving level of using the combination of number and form among students in each class of the same grade;There is almost no difference between boys and girls in the same grade in solving problems by using the method of combination of number and shape.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on the problems found in the research,and puts forward teaching suggestions.
