In the context of the new curriculum reform,basic education is also constantly innovating and developing.In recent years,mind maps,as a visualization tool,have received extensive attention in primary school Chinese teaching.Mind map comprehensively uses words,lines,pictures,colors and other elements to present thinking in a clear and organized form,promote the combination of mind map and practice teaching,and strengthen students’ ability to sort out and remember knowledge.Composition teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching in primary schools,and it is also a difficult point in Chinese teaching.By combining mind map with assignment teaching,and using mind map as a visual tool to assist assignment teaching,a new way of assignment teaching can be explored.By applying the action research method,on the basis of reviewing a large number of literature materials,the current situation of the students in the experimental class and the control class in Z elementary school was investigated to understand the current situation and problems of the current practice teaching,and carried out three rounds of action research with the problems.Each round of action research is divided into two class hours.Each round follows the four steps of "clarification of the question-formulation of hypotheses-teaching action-reflection and conclusion".Each round of teaching action includes four links: "teaching implementation,classroom situation analysis,classroom observation and discussion,and researcher reflection".According to the questions raised by reflection and summary,corresponding improvement measures will be taken in the next round of research,and the action research process of mind mapping in the practice teaching will be continuously improved.Taking the cognitive characteristics of the senior elementary school students and the actual situation of the thinking habits of the assignments as the breakthrough point,the mind map is used to guide the assignments of the senior elementary school students to conduct related research,and the practice in the teaching is not high interest,lack of skills,habitual absence and absenteeism.Guidance method for a single problem and propose corresponding problem-solving strategies.After three rounds of action research,combined with the evaluation form of the teaching objectives of the mind map practice and the classroom observation feedback of the collaborative observers,Concluded as follow:Mind map in the application of assignment teaching has played a role in improving students’ assignment learning.Put forward the teaching mode of using mind map in the teaching of assignments.
