With the changes of the times,people's requirements for science education are gradually changing.This is mainly reflected in the fact that the crucial goal of the reform and development of science education has gradually shifted from imparting scientific knowledge to developing students' scientific literacy.What is scientific literacy? From the perspective of the elements of scientific literacy,the most important part is the essence of science that is students' ontological understanding of what science is.Therefore,if you want to improve the scientific literacy of students,you can start with improving the scientific nature of students.In recent years,our country has also begun to follow the pace of the development of international science education,gradually realizing the importance of adding education of the nature of Science to science education,and gradually implementing it into specific goals and requirements,especially science education.In recent years,our country has also begun to follow the pace of the development of international science education,gradually realizing the importance of adding science education to science education,and gradually implementing it into specific goals and requirements,especially science education.For example,"correct understanding of the nature of science" is a physics curriculum goal proposed in the "High School Physics Curriculum Standards"(2017 edition,revised in 2020).In the part of the course content,the specific connotation of "scientific essence" is also detailed.However,in order to achieve the training goals of science‘s ensence,we must actively explore various strategies and approaches in teaching work.From the perspective of the elements and historical origins of HPS(History of Science,Philosophy of Science and Sociology of Science)education,it can promote the formation of students' views on the nature of science.However,in the specific implementation process,the educational concept is too broad to lacks operability.Therefore,in order to further use this educational concept to guide teaching,numerous teaching models emerge.Mainly and widely used teaching models is the HPS teaching model jointly proposed by Munch and Osborne.However,there is still a lack of research on what factors affect the students' view of the nature of science in the learning process and whether the HPS teaching model in physics teaching can have a positive impact on the cultivation of the students' view of the nature of science.Two issues will be study.This research mainly consists of two parts: in theory,taking "free fall motion" and "Newton's first law" as examples,based on a large number of literature research and investigation results and the author's own teaching experience,i propose to apply the HPS teaching model to physics Teaching strategies to enhance students' view of the essence of science.And through the HPS teaching model fusion of the proposed strategies for teaching design and related practical research.In practice,a questionnaire survey was conducted in a middle school in Quanzhou City to analyze the current development status of middle school students' view of the nature of science,and to study whether factors such as grade,gender,interest,and school affect the nature of students' science.The research conclusions are as follows: First,in the current research:(1)The current situation of high school students' understanding of the nature of science in my country is not optimistic.(2)From the point of view of the scores of various dimensions,the score level of students in the essence of scientific knowledge will be slightly higher than the understanding of the essence of scientific career,and the understanding of the essence of scientific exploration ranks last.(3)Due to the influence of daily teaching,students have the most profound understanding of the accumulation in the dimension of scientific knowledge,the empirical nature in the dimension of scientific exploration,and the science and technology contained in the dimension of scientific career.(4)Students of different ages and genders have no significant differences in the development level of the scientific concept of nature,and students' learning interest has a significant impact on the development of the student's scientific concept of nature.Therefore,to achieve the development of the students' scientific concept of nature,it is necessary Fully mobilize students' interest in learning.Second,it is found in experimental research sa follow.(1)Traditional teaching has a certain positive effect on the cultivation of students' scientific nature,but in the short term,the effect is not obvious.(2)From the perspective of short-term effects,the HPS teaching model can quickly improve students' understanding of the nature of science in a short period of time.Therefore,it is believed that the HPS teaching model will have a very significant impact on students' view of the nature of science.
