HPS education emphasizes the integration of the history of science,philosophy of science,and sociology of science in the teaching process to help students understand the essence of science and improve scientific literacy.The concept of scientific education officially entered the field of education research in China in the 21 st century.It is highly consistent with the values of the core literacy concept of chemistry proposed in the "General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards" issued in 2017.The sound personality,social responsibility,innovative spirit and practical ability,lifelong learning attitude and good humanistic qualities required by the new curriculum reform should all be implemented in the teaching process.The integration of HPS education into the high school chemistry teaching process will make chemistry teaching closer to the requirements of chemistry curriculum standards and the core literacy of chemistry disciplines.As the main teaching materials,textbooks are an important carrier of HPS education content.Especially after the new chemistry textbooks are put into use,it is necessary to in-depth study the integration of HPS education content into the new chemistry textbooks.This is conducive to the better use of new textbooks by chemistry teachers,through the process of creating problem situations,guiding students,thinking and inquiring,to promote students' understanding of chemistry knowledge and the transformation of concepts,helping students to correctly understand the nature of science and establish correct Three views to promote the development of core literacy in chemistry.Therefore,the integration of HPS education into high school chemistry teaching is not only the requirement of the age of chemistry curriculum reform,but also the expectation of chemistry curriculum standards for student development.This research focuses on the theme of HPS education to promote the development of students' core literacy in chemistry,and conducts content analysis and teaching practice research on the new Luke version of chemistry textbook.The main research content includes the following seven parts.The first is the introduction,which points out the background of the research,and puts forward the research purpose,research significance and research methods.The first chapter is a literature review,sorting out the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on HPS education and chemistry teaching materials,and summarizing research hotspots and research status.At the same time,it defines the connotation of HPS education,HPS teaching mode,and core literacy of chemistry,expounds the concept of the essence of science,the concept of new chemistry curriculum standards,the concept of constructivism and the concept of humanism,and provides theoretical support for subsequent research.The second chapter uses the content analysis method to study the integration of HPS education content into the new chemistry curriculum standard and the Luke edition compulsory new textbook.First,based on the international TIMSS survey and domestic and foreign literature analysis,the sub-category operational definition of HPS education is formed to form an operational category list,and then the "General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" and Luke Edition compulsory new The content of "History of Chemistry","Scientific Knowledge and Its Essence",and "Interaction between Technology and Society" in the textbooks are analyzed,coded and quantified,and the statistical results are analyzed qualitatively.The third chapter uses a questionnaire to investigate the current penetration of HPS education in high school chemistry teaching.Through the analysis of the results of the teacher questionnaire and the student questionnaire,we can find the existing problems and put forward suggestions to promote the integration of HPS education into high school chemistry teaching.The fourth chapter is the teaching strategy and teaching design based on the HPS teaching model.This chapter first introduces the four existing HPS teaching models,then proposes the teaching design process and related teaching strategies after adjustment and improvement based on the fusion model,as well as the high school chemistry teaching design steps that apply the fusion model,and selects the new compulsory textbooks in the Luke version "Redox Reaction" is an example for teaching case design.The fifth chapter is the research of high school chemistry teaching practice based on HPS integration model.In the author's practice school,two classes with the same starting point were selected for one-semester controlled experimental teaching,and the teaching effect was analyzed and evaluated through the analysis of student test scores,student interviews and teacher interviews.The sixth chapter is the research conclusions and prospects.Summarize the previous research and draw conclusions,and summarize the innovations,deficiencies and research prospects of this article.
